"How long is the Course and how much time to I need to allow per module?"

Every student is different and all the modules are different lengths, but on average we suggest each module would take approximately a month to complete, with the whole course taking just over a year to complete. This obviously depends on your work/ home life balance.

"Will we have to buy text books and the test kits?"

The 200 test vials for Chemicals, foods, food additives , pollens, dust etc will be provided as part of the course. You will receive these when you attend the weekend training course held in Monmouth.

All text books and reference books will need to be purchased by the student.

A list of all books required be provided once you start the course (these can be purchased new or second hand though various websites).

Will I get support throughout the duration of the course?

Yes!

We are available to contact via Email or Telephone, and will always answer any queries. There is also the online Forum, available for all members. The forums are usually a wealth of knowledge and experience.

Career Prospects

Therapists are always looking to further their knowledge and bring other therapies to their business. Whether you are already a therapist and are looking to add another string to your bow, or you are just starting out on your journey as an Allergy therapist, your opportunities are many.
The BIAET is under the Umbrella of the BCMA. This makes finding new therapies and help for your clients much easier. It also brings all the Alternative therapies under one roof, making it easier for you as a Therapist to access new information. As a Therapist you will be registered with the BCMA, which brings discounts on Insurance for your business.
In short, your opportunities for learning are many if you wish to pursue them, the World of Homeopathy is huge and there is always something to learn.

Karen Carman BSc (Hons) (DNN) (C.Nut) (Dip A.E.T) (S.A.C. Dip)

Karen is a Gifted Healer, Health Intuitive, Allergy Practitioner and Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist.
She has over 30 years in continuous practice and has a wealth of experience and extensive training working with a wide range of conditions for babies, children and adults, supporting change in people’s lives worldwide.

Karen originally trained and worked as a Pediatric Speech and Language Therapist, in the NHS, then managing charitable organisations for with Children with Global Developmental Delay and Autistic Spectrum Disorders. Later on she combined this with her Nutritional skills to advise on allergy and gut healing protocols for children with learning disabilities. Karen has over 27 years specialist experience in working with children.

To expand her natural healing ability, in the early 90’s Karen became a Reiki & Seichem Master and Teacher, running many training and healing related workshops. Alongside this she completed many courses in Dowsing and extensive on site training in the Therapeutic use of Flower / Vibrational Essences.

In 2001, Karen then qualified as a Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist with the renowned Naturopath Barbara Wren. She then went on to then gain a further diploma with distinction in Child Nutrition and a diploma with credit in the Identification and Treatment of Allergic and Environmental Disorders from the British Institute of Allergy and Environmental Therapy. She also has training in Functional Medicine from its infancy.

To expand her Nutrition Practice, Karen then completed foundation training in Kinesiology, achieved a diploma in Biochemical Tissue Salts and became an Advanced Practitioner in Intuitive Anatomy training and Theta Healing.

In 2008 Karen qualified as a counselor and Women’s Health Practitioner which has enabled her to offer specialist treatments for women. She has also completed a 3 year Nutritional Therapy Diploma course with the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) to further support her Nutritional Therapy qualifications. Enabling her to become a registered Nutritional Therapist and offer Functional Medicine testing (stool, hair, saliva and blood) and analysis.

Her work is her passion!
